Join the Ucluelet Aquarium’s ongoing microplastic and marine debris initiative! We conduct monthly microplastic surveys at local beaches to collect data on microplastic distribution and composition.

We will meet at 11:15 am at the Maltby Road entrance to Cox Bay. Anyone can participate, just make sure to dress for the weather. Rubber gloves and gumboots are recommended but not required. Surveys usually last 2-4 hours but you can stay for as long or as short as you’d like.
